The Ladies Guild is one of the oldest established groups in the parish and has served to organise social functions for many of the women in our parish as well as occasional Days of Recollection and often supply catering support. Members organise Lenten Lunches with all monies collected being donated to local charities. The Guild also run a stall and raffle at the church Christmas Fayre.
Individual members are involved in other services to the church, such as the choir, church cleaning, hospital Communion visits, Mothers' Prayers and planning and participating in the annual Women's World Day of Prayer together with other West Moors churches.
Meetings are held on the 1st Thursday of the month (except August) and usually start with Benediction at 2:30 p.m. in the church; there is then a short meeting in the hall followed by either a speaker or an activity chosen by members. The afternoon closes after tea, biscuits and a raffle at approximately 4:30 p.m.
Membership is open to all ladies of the parish.
